The ticket is valid after it has been marked inside the vehicle and it remains valid for the maximum duration of ticket, also when changing the line.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A\u00a0ticket may be also purchased via a\u00a0mobile phone, by sending a blank\u00a0text message to the number 1140 (this ticket serves for a\u00a040-minute trip).<\/strong> The time schedules may be found at each bus\/tram stop or online.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The premises of the Pan-European University at Tom\u00e1\u0161ikova 20 in Bratislava-Ru\u017einov may be reached by the trams no. 8 and 9, evtl. the busses no. 50, 66, 78 or 96. The PEU premises, located at Temat\u00ednska 10 in Bratislava-Petr\u017ealka may be reached by the busses no. 83, 92, 95, 97, 98, 99 (bus stop Technopol).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bratislava is situated in the very centre of Europe, which makes it a\u00a0convenient place to reach other important cities in the region. The travel distance to Vienna is just 60 km, to Budapest 250 km and Prague is approx. 400 km away from Bratislava.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the crossroads of important travel corridors, Bratislava may be reached by car, bus, train, air or on a\u00a0boat on the Danube river.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Bratislava M.R.\u0160tef\u00e1nik Airport is located in the east of Bratislava and is served predominantly by low-cost airlines. As an important international air travel hub the Vienna International Airport is situated 45 km west of Bratislava.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The river transport on the Danube links connects Bratislava with both Budapest and Vienna. As an international waterway, a\u00a0connection with the North and the Black Sea is possible through the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The railway is the most convenient line of communication between Bratislava, Prague and Budapest, since located on the same international railway corridor. Vienna may be reached within a\u00a01-hour train journey and connections to Poland (towards Katowice and Warszawa) are served via B\u0159eclav and Ostrava.<\/strong> In the domestic transportation network the railway serves a\u00a0very important role, <strong>by connecting Bratislava with the eastern parts of Slovakia, via a\u00a0northern (serving among others Tren\u010d\u00edn, \u017dilina, Poprad-Tatry and Ko\u0161ice) and a\u00a0southern route (reaching Ko\u0161ice via Zvolen and Bansk\u00e1 Bystrica).<\/strong> The naturally most picturesque regions of Slovakia may be reached this way, located in the centre, north and east of the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The road transport connects Bratislava with the neighbouring countries through a\u00a0network of motorways. 3 main companies serve in the national (Slovak Lines, RegioJet) and international bus transport (Slovak Lines, RegioJet and Flixbus).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The public transport system is served by a\u00a0network of trams and busses, Bratislava currently does not have an underground transport system.
