Since its inception, Pan-European University has been actively involved in international academic cooperation programs, collaborates within international networks and consortia, and takes advantage of opportunities for bilateral inter-university partnerships. In this regard, it offers its students a wide range of opportunities for study abroad, as well as participation in international events, student competitions, and moot courts. PEV\u0160 actively leverages its international contacts to involve prominent figures from abroad in its study programs and is gradually expanding study opportunities in these programs for international students as well.<\/p>

International Relations at the PEU<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Since the 2006\/2007 academic year, PEV\u0160 has actively participated in the Erasmus program<\/a>, and in connection with the establishment of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP), it holds the Extended European University Charter (EUC No.: 228111-IC-1-2007-1 -SK-ERASMUS-EUC-1). It is the EUC that enables PEV\u0160 to participate in EU academic programs and conclude bilateral agreements with other participating higher education institutions. Under the ERASMUS program, PEV\u0160 currently cooperates with more than 60 partner universities in most European Union countries, as well as in Iceland, Switzerland, and Turkey.<\/p>

An equally important aspect of international cooperation, to which PEV\u0160 devotes special attention, is academic cooperation and the development of bilateral relations within the framework of the EU\u2019s neighborhood cooperation objectives. In this regard, PEV\u0160\u2019s activities focus on cooperation with universities in the Western Balkans and the countries of the former Soviet Union, as well as on establishing initial contacts with institutions in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean. PEV\u0160\u2019s membership in the EMUNI (Euro-Mediterranean University) association opens up new opportunities in this regard.<\/p>

PEV\u0160 carries out a significant portion of its international activities in cooperation with partner universities in the Central European region, primarily Charles University in Prague, Masaryk University in Brno, the University of Vienna, and ELTE in Budapest. Contacts with these renowned educational institutions are not limited to educational activities but increasingly extend into the fields of science and research, joint research projects, joint study programs, the preparation of scholarly publications by joint authoring teams, and the formation of mixed expert teams and professional groups for the exchange of knowledge and experience.<\/p>

Evidence that PEV\u0160 does not limit its activities to the European continent is demonstrated by its contacts and joint activities with non-European partners. Also in light of the conclusion of the ERASMUS program<\/a> in its current form\u2014which will, however, be replaced by a new program aimed at expanding the EU\u2019s international academic cooperation to include collaboration with third countries\u2014PEV\u0160 is turning its attention, in addition to traditional neighboring regions, to countries in East and Southeast Asia (particularly China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam) and Latin America (specifically Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico). A key element in this regard is close cooperation with a leading global university, the prestigious City University of Hong Kong.<\/p>

PEV\u0160 views the creation of opportunities for international students to study in foreign-language programs\u2014primarily those taught in English\u2014as its key objective for developing international activities in the near future. In cooperation with partners abroad, these programs should transcend the national context and expand and complement PEV\u0160\u2019s range of study programs with joint study programs with universities abroad.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
