The mission of Pan-European University is to advance science, basic and applied research, development, and artistic activities, thereby strengthening the University’s position in research and innovation at both the national and international levels.

This objective is achieved through the work of faculty-based research teams as well as through the establishment of multidisciplinary research groups addressing topics that require the integration of expertise from multiple academic disciplines represented at the University.

Based on recognized research achievements, the University’s faculties have identified priority research areas in which they further develop their scientific and research activities. These areas respond to societal needs and international research challenges, creating opportunities for participation in national and international research collaborations. The University’s current research focus includes topics such as mental health in educational and workplace environments, the use and impact of virtual reality and AI models, human rights, and the ethics of media communication. All priority research areas are listed under the respective faculties.
